The first draft of our trailer

This is the week we are to put all we have filmed into a logical manner. We will need to do some editing and add some relevant music to the clips, which we have got saved already.

In this hour we need to film some final clips so that we have a firm beginning, middle and an end to our trailer.

This week Chloe and I filmed the main part of our trailer.

We gathered Naomi, Sophie, Rob and Jodie over to film the clip inside the garage. We used many props such as power tools, fake blood and ropes to tie the victims up. This was to keep the clip as life like as possible.

It showed them being held hostage and then later it showed them sitting silently along the back of the garage. Sounds were also used from the tools around to create a horrifying atmosphere.

Non-diagetic sounds will also be added in to intensify the effect.

Closing – The 5^th Revenge

I have inverted the colours of our title using Photoshop, this will now be easier to manage for when our title is portrayed in our trailer on a black background.

Last week me and Chloe started filming. We only filmed a short scene so have not yet introduced any of the characters.

The scene we filmed was to show the anger of Audrey when at college. It shows Audrey running to the toilets, slamming the toilet door and then writing the names of the bullies on the wall.

Me and Chloe both had a chance to film it, and to play the part of Audrey. This way we can find out who is better at acting and who is better a filming.

This week will be used to establish a draft of what the future weeks will entail. We need a plan in order to not get behind and to make sure we have time at the end for editing specific scenes.

I have edited one of the title font ideas that appealed to us using Photoshop.

I have made the number 5 larger than the rest of the title. This makes the number 5 stand out more and make it more intense.

Font Experimentation

Using our title 'The 5th Revenge' I have looked at font sites on the internet and found a few which appealed to me. I made sure they suited the genre of the trailer 'Horror' and that they fit with the story we have created.
